This, dear Robert, is not the work of a hack/fake AT ALL. You sir, are going to have to bear (pun intended) the responsibility of being a fine artist. This single piece has concept (an ironic goldilocks thing) composition (a long thin choice of frame--superb for storytelling, with the titular cabin centered contrasting two bears to the far right and the last, hysterically, to the far left) and a purposeful execution (woodwork--are you KIDDING, Brother? I couldn't do this--you rock) I invite everyone to view THE CANADIAN MADMAN as a gallery. I assure you, everyone who does will be impressed. f/v

Olaf, Thank you for the great comments. I guess I never really looked too deep into why I carve what I do. To me it was just a hobby and like you, I create because I can and it keeps me somewhat sane at times. I really enjoy your art work; it looks like you love doing what you do and you are not afraid to experiment. Your art has great colors and a zest of wildness and imagination. You are the artist....
